A barren piece of land formerly cut in halves by the Berlin Wall, it has been developed by renowned architects like Sir Norman Foster after the reunification. Potsdamer Platz as well as the new Parliament and Government Quarter with the German Reichstag, hosting the Parliament, and the Chancellory, are among the main attractions for every visitor. Some parts of the city, such as Kreuzberg or Prenzlauer Berg, are especially famous for their very special flair and should be experienced first handed.
